- June 26-28. Iowa 4-H Youth Conference. This year's theme is "Brighten Your World." ISU campus, Ames. IPIC will offer three pork-related workshops to attendees and chaperones.
- June 28. Iowa Swine Day. Sponsored by IPIC, ISU and IPPA. $25 when registered by June 15, includes noon meal and materials. See more info and register here.

- July 24. Lauren Christian Pork Chop Open. Veenker Memorial Golf Course and Moore Memorial Park, Ames. Golf begins at 10 a.m. at Veenker with reception, meal and awards following. Cost for the day's events is $85 per person/$340 for a four-person team. See more information in this news release. Download the event brochure with registration forms. Registration deadline is July 10 or when field of 32 teams is reached.
