- June 5-7. World Pork Expo. Des Moines. This is the 20th anniversary of the event.

June 9-11. Midwest Composting School. Field Extension Education Laboratory, Ames. Program cost is $375 per person when registered by May 27, or $425 after that date. Links to more information and online registration are available on the ISU Agribusiness Education Program web site.
- June 10. Advanced Swine Reproduction Seminar. Marina Inn, 510 E 5th Street, South Sioux City, Neb. Registration is $25 per person, which includes materials and a pork loin lunch. - June 11. Swine Breeding Herd Management Seminar. Waverly Civic Center, 1200 1st Street N.E., Waverly. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration is $25 per person which includes lunch and materials. June 16. IPIC Advisory Board meeting. Kildee Hall, 2 to 6 p.m.
- June 24-26. Iowa State 4-H Youth Conference. “Ignite the Flame!” ISU campus, Ames. IPIC will offer three pork-related workshops to attendees and chaperones.
- July 15. Lauren Christian Pork Chop Open. Veenker Memorial Golf Course and Farm Bureau Pavilion, ISU campus. Ames. Golf begins at 10 a.m. at Veenker and dinner is at the Pavilion at 5 p.m. Cost is $75 per person or $300 per four-player team, with registrations due July 8 or when the 32-team field is filled.
